VOLUNTEER LETHBRIDGE TRAINING

Volunteer Lethbridge is dedicated to providing training and educational opportunities for people who work with volunteers. By sharing our expertise, Volunteer Lethbridge helps the community and its member agencies become more productive. We distribute the most current information on volunteer management and also identify and connect agencies facing similar challenges so they can work together.  Member agencies receive reduced pricing for our workshops & training sessions. We also promote training opportunities available through other not-for-profit community providers.

VOLUNTARY SECTOR NEWSLETTER                                 

A monthly email newsletter is distributed to our member agencies. Our goal is to provide material from the local and national level for volunteer managers. A special section is also set aside for agencies to promote whatever events and information they would like distributed.

VOLUNTEER SECTOR RESOURCE LIBRARY

A library membership is included with agency membership. Our collection represents an effective training tool at the disposal of both the public and not-for-profit community The Voluntary Sector Resource Library houses books, journals, videotapes and audiotapes on a variety of topics including: Volunteer Management, Board Development, Fundraising Sources, Marketing & Public Relations, Strategic Management, Organizational Management, Training and Special Events

MEDIA GUIDE

You will never have to search for the right media contact for a news release or public service announcement – we do the research for you, and we update it throughout the year, and email it to you.  The Media Guide includes great tips and valuable contacts for print publications, television and radio stations in Lethbridge and area.  This is an exclusive membership benefit.
